●MORNIG MARKET (MIYAKAWA)
The famous morning markets are taken place around Jinya and Miyakawa. Seasonal and fresh vegetable, fruit and flowers. Enjoy carefree chatting with ladies wearing traditional Mompe pants. You will enjoy listening to pure Hida Japanese. (open: Summer 6am-12, Winter 7am-12)

●TAKAYAMA JINYA
Used to be owned by Takayama castle king Kanamori
After he was transferred to Yamagata, this place was controlled directly by Tokugawa Bakufu. Officers were sent from Edo and the political center was made here to control the area.

●HIDA NO SATO
Hida's traditional architectures such as Gasho-dukuri and straw roof that is strong for heavy snow. Around 30 of such representing houses are here to show Hida's old farm villege.

●THE FOREST OF SQUIRRELS-HIDA MOUTAIN PLANTS NATURAL GARDEN
